Outstanding job on both trucks! They look fantastic! What's next, let's see, an LJSWX, right? I hope, or in the other direction, a DM800 and an early RD688SX? Even If you stop at these two B's , you have a very admirable fleet!! Enjoy driving them!

Nice looking truck and colors.
Why does the stripping go at an angle on the door are they paving contractors so it looks like a road?
IN A NUTSHELL SIR; AMONG OTHER THINGS LIKE EXCAVATION AND SITE PREP, YES THEY ARE/WERE PAVING CONTRACTORS. SOME FROM THE EAST MAY ALSO NOTE THE SIMILARITY IN PAINT SCHEME TO J. SUPOR & SON TRUCKING & RIGGING OF A FEW YEARS BACK AS THIS TRUCK'S PREVIOUS OWNER, FRANK GACCIONE, AND THE LATE MR. JOSEPH SUPOR WERE VERY CLOSE FRIENDS.

This is what the R model is replacing. The CH is getting fitted with a 750 Holmes wrecker unit.
MIKE, IS THE HOLMES 750 THAT IS GOING ON THE CH ONE OF YOUR FINDS? I SEEM TO REMEMBER YOU OBTAINING ONE AWHILE BACK. THE R-MODEL LOOKS GREAT; AWESOME THAT ITS BACK ON THE ROAD.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL RESTORATION; GORGEOUS! MORE PICTURES PLEASE . . . I'M SALIVATING

There was also a serie of WW2 LMSW heavy wreckers produced.
They were used by Canadians.
Had the same style flat fenders but central positioned cabs. The later ones had military style open cabs.
There are still many survivers in Europe, mostly in the UK and the Netherlands.
AWESOME HEAVY WRECKER!

BOYS, WE ALL SEEM TO AGREE ABOUT OUR PRESENT LEADER AND HIS PRESENT AND FORMER LEADERSHIP CRONIES; YOU MUST REMEMBER THAT HE WAS "VOTED" INTO OFFICE BY THOSE WHO HE WAS ABLE TO CONVINCE OF HIS CAPABILITY. SO I ASK, NO I PLEAD WITH ALL OF YOU TO TALK IT UP WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO ALL GET OUT AND VOTE FOR ANYONE OTHER THAN WHO THE DEMOCRATS PUT UP OR NOTHING WILL CHANGE EXCEPT THAT WE WILL PAY AND PAY DEARLY FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AND ANY OTHERS WHO DONT FEEL LIKE WORKING AND WE'LL LOSE OUR 2ND AMENDMENT RIGHTS TOO AND OUR SOCIAL SECURITY ACCOUNTS WILL CONTINUE TO BE RAIDED. JUST LOOK AT THE CONDITION OF THE STATE THAT OBAMA CAME FROM. OUR COUNTRY (NAMELY ALL OF US) NEEDS SOMEONE TO STAND UP FOR WHATS RIGHT AND BEST FOR ALL OF THE HARD WORKERS. THAT WONT COME FROM THE CROOKED HILARY OR ANY OTHER DEMOCRAT. WE MUST CONVINCE EVERYONE WE KNOW TO GET OUT AND VOTE AND HOPE THEY UNDERSTAND WHO TO AND WHO NOT TO VOTE FOR.

I grew up seeing this truck and others they had. I worked there 2000-2008, this one was redone a little over 10 years ago and the pic is from then. It was all dark blue with an OX body originally, me and that old dog went through a lot together...
I'M SURE YOU HAVE MANY GREAT MEMORIES; WE WONT TALK ABOUT ANY "NOT SO GREAT MEMORIES", chuckle chuckle!

LET'S JUST SAY THAT I WORKED FOR THE CURRENT MACK COMPANY AND WAS REALLY INTO THE PROGRESSION OF THE "BUILT LIKE A MACK TRUCK" HERITAGE AND WOULD LOVE TO CREATE A NEW BREED OF MACK TRUCK OWNERS, USERS AND ENTHUSIASTS I WOULD TURN IN THOSE PLANS TO MY BOSS AS THE NEW MACK "RETROLINER" ! THESE PLANS WOULD PARALLEL THE FORD MUSTANG, THE CHEVROLET CAMARO AND THE DODGE CHALLENGER. SUGGESTIONS ACCEPTED AS FAR AS OPTIONS. JUST MY 2 CENTS BUT I LOVE THE CONCEPT!!

...Cleaned up real nice ! Good luck with it. As if luck with a decently maintained MACK was necessary !
