1945 Mack LJ

This is the 5th truck I restored. It was previously a firetruck. It has a Mack 237 engine, model 2070 7 speed transmission, 552 ratio rear-axle. Transmission is a .61 overdrive which gives a nice cruising speed of 1400 rpm @ 65 mph. I have a vintage 1940's 40 gal oil dispensor in the back and a few other pieces of memorbelia as we take this truck to parades and it is a favorite.
