I plan on doing what I can, but the body and paint will certainly strain the bank account as I want it done well and done right. I've set a goal of 4-5 years for the restoration to be complete - have really begun to develop the mind set that I've bought a very expensive Lexus. However, when I factor in the sentimental value (the fact that my dad drove this as a rookie firefighter)this is a priceless piece of art that will be my labor of love for several years to come so $$ isn't necessarily the driving issue - yet!
