Thats an awesome picture....I imagine thats what my fathers fleet looked like. Wish I had those pictures. But I guess at the time they were just another truck. Nobody suspected we'd be looking back so fondly on them. Soo no pics....

Thats too bad B67. Mr. Severson let me copy this photo. When I gave it back to him,he rolled it up as if it was a useless flyer from his mailbox.I could have cried. He then proceeded to tell of the 3 dumpsters full of parts, manuals, etc. that they had just thrown away. His wife seemed more interested in the BCR than he did.Oh well, nice guy nonetheless.Funny how some folks just don't think there history matters. Thanks for the comment!

Funny indeed... Shame you couldnt have snagged the parts. But at least you got the picture. Its guys like you that take the time to take a look back with respect that keeps the history alive. Good job

Thanks.I wrote a little tribute to their company along with a little history of the truck.Mrs. Severson asked if I could make a copy for her.I offered to pay for a membership in the ATHS or ATCA but Mr. S. wasn't interested.Guess he was all through with trucking! We'll have to keep this thing going.

Never drove one but rode in a few and I'll admit I wasn't a fan at the time. I do remember a few discussions my Dad had with other drivers regarding B's and I will say that everyone knew these trucks were indestructible, whether they liked them or not. Funny how times change, I can't get enough of them now!

I always hear they were hot in the summer & cold in the winter. An old fleet owner around here used to say,"It may have a different driver in it, but those Mack's just keep coming back!"
