- Other Comments Last registered in 1997, "Scrappy" was saved from cutting torches in Othello, WA, by David Holst (Holst Trucking, Orting, WA) in 2013. I purchased it from David in September, 2015, for restoration. So far, I've worked on brakes, fuel injector lines, exhaust stack, and shift levers (which were "thoroughly worn out"). Had a new aluminum front bumper fabricated by Streich Brothers, in Tacoma, WA. Smashed fenders were repaired by local metal wizard, Tom Bramhall. Truck runs and drives well, except the 3-speed "Brownie" is stuck in Direct.
