Brad S Posted 10 hours ago Share Posted 10 hours ago Howdy all, I am trying to help with this 1930(?) AC dumptruck, and am seeking some advice on the transmission which won't go into first gear. This isn't my truck, but I help out at this small museum that has it on site, it still drives! I had a quick look yesterday an washed off the area, which showed a crack in the transmission case unfortunately. This trans and PTO housing have some other obvious repairs as well, and a broken boss. Does anyone have a diagram/exploded view of the transmission? I also found the shift linkage has two pivot joints with obvious slop/play as well, not sure if that's the first thing to fix or not.
