I recently had a new driveshaft made for my 85 Mack R with the 5speed. I went ahead and got new yokes and replaced the seals on the transmission side and diff side. Topped both off with oil and took it for a test drive. When I got back and checked for leaks I had oil leaking from both seals.
This isn’t my first time installing new seals in something and I took better care of them this time than I usually do.

When I tightened the bolts down on the yokes until they bottomed out I noticed a gap on both ends. I did notice that the yoke shafts were a tad longer than the originals that I pulled off but I didn’t think anything of it.

Has anyone ran into this issue before?
