randl Posted August 22, 2012 Share Posted August 22, 2012 I pulled the bosch injection pump off today to have rebuilt, thought i had it in time when i pulled it but i guess not had to rotate pump to clear gear. how do i put this on top dead to re install pump when it returns from pump shop. randl Posted August 23, 2012 Author Share Posted August 23, 2012 thought i did but when i went to pull the pump i had to turn the pump to get it passed the gear . does the top dead center mark need to be on the motor pointer or the pump pointer when i reinstall the pump. i now i will have to pull the valve cover to bring up compression stroke now. just need to know what pointer to set at.
