  1. I am trying to install power steering on my 67 r600 and have come up with a minor obsticle. the air compressor on the motor doesnt have an rear drive, when i pull the rear covor all i see is a bearing. i am wondering if anyone knows what will interchange and if i need an adaptor or not. the motor is an END707 and the number off the original compressor is 303gb561p1.

    any help is greatly appreciated

  2. some days you just have to call em as you see them. I had the same shit happen on 287 down in texas last year. I was driving along at the speed limit, as i was in no hurry, and there was a few cars behind me driftin left and right flashn their lights. When i finished passn i moved over and was told i was #1. Bout 20 miles later i was pulled over by the local sherrif and he asked me if i was sleepn, cause he had reports that i was driving all over the road as well as both shoulders and the median! There was a lot of rain the night b4 and the shoulders were muddy so i asked him to check my tires for mud, and he then told me to have a nice day. But the damn dot showd up and had a bitch fit which ended with him telling me how i was wasting his time, like it was my fault and i was a bad person. I believe in this operation those who calld in and that damn dot officer were all miserable Cunts.

  3. whatever he,s calling it,,its pretty rough,for that low mileage,should say (beat a hell) MB.lol...bob

For a city of chicago truck it probably aint in that bad of shape. Especially considering they have those high quality union workers operating them. But it has to b the most interesting b67 i have ever seen.

  4. Yeah, it seems every holiday weekend i become a statistic for something stupid. At least i didnt get an inspection paper to turn into the office. It wasnt a big deal to go home n fix it, thats what i was going to do anyway. They are just trying to get some revenue these days, so the go after the easy target....the workn man!

  5. That aint to bad with the dot just slowin you down. I had a state trooper pull me over between where i drop the trl and the house( bout 6 miles), the sat b4 memorial day and give me a fixit ticket for a mud flap missing. Which was bungied to the catwalk and you could tell it was ripped off. But atleast i didnt get an inspection paper with it so it doesnt go on the csa file.

  6. Thanks for the replies guys still undecided on this one. Most years would'nt worry about spending the cash but with all this rain just hate to spend and still have no income. Is it this wet right across the northern States to I've been hearing about Montana and the Dakotas being extremly wet to. Best of luck to your opperations Dennis.

From what i have seen north dakota is probably just as wet as up in your area. There is still part of I94 that has water across the west bound lanes on tuesday morning. i went thru bout 2am and it was dry but by noon it had water across with a county worker runnin a flag by the side, it was still crossable though. As far as the floater tires i havent had any experience with them but all the farmers in my area run them on there slurry trucks. And i have seen them driving in areas that i wouldnt drive my pickup thru if i didnt really need to. They seem to due the job, but im sure they wont go thru everything. But a little common sense goes a long way.

  7. here is a pic of a 79 white western star i found for auction this week. and a few dump trucks i found for sale, the ih is a 66 4000 model with a 47 spencer trailer. found it on craigslist for sale in minneapolis, that is supposidly in a farm field near where it was rolled in the late 60s i think.
