  1. Would like to up size the motor in my 93 ch 600 It has a e-6 350 in it now.  But would like to up the horse power. I have heard good things about the e-7 454 and would like to find a complete motor if anyone has any leads. Prefer running but would be interested in a complete core for the right price.

  2. I have a 93 ch 613, It currently has a 350 e6 in it. I am looking to go to a larger engine and would like to find a reman complete. It is in a 50 ton wrecker. I often am grossing 120k +. Pulls good but struggles to much with hills. All Suggestions are greatly appreciated size and where I can find one.

  3. Hello I have been having so much difficulty getting anything from the dealer. Looking to replace steering but just a vin that was right on would be helpful. My mack has a 350e6.  It is a triaxle wrecker but came as a glider so my vin doesn't help dealer.  steering gear  box number is tas652290

    Thanks

  4. I have a 93 CH613 glider so the VIN doesn't help on anything. Last year broke a axle and had to have the rear housing changed out. The

shop that did it put a later model rear in,.  It was a hub guide not a stud guide rear, so they used the good hub off my rear on one side.

And notched the drum to fit over the the other..  Putting new slack adjusters on and there is one inch difference. between front axle and rear.. Nightmare... My question is can I change the brake rings and tubes from the old rear,.

  5. It could be the fuel, I had this problem after filling at a spinx, my mech told me that the additives in their fuel,

does help clean the system. but the accumulation that has built up in the tanks will be cleaned off also and you will

have to go through about a dozen fuel filters until it is completely cleaned. I carried filters with me and never filled again at that station havent had problem since.

  6. started with a miss, felt and sounded like injectors, pulled them and had rebuilt, still had miss, determined it was number 2 pulled injector had it checked, also at that time checked

engine to make sure no valves were leaking, the fuel line on #2 had a little ding where it went into the injector so replaced line, still had the miss, still number 2, when loosing lines,

all spit fuel from the pump number 2 had to almost take line off pump to get fuel to come out. called local diesel shop but they couldn't look at it until monday or tuesday next week,

and rebuild would be between 800-2000 found a place that had the pump for 1600 and over nighted it. did make sure pointer was centered in hole. but with no key on gear didn;t

think and when tighting nut on pump it turned, and oops got out of time, do have a manual, but gave numbers between 19-30 degrees, pointer doesn't look bent but my old dog has

over a million on her and has been into a few times.

  7. I am going to give it a shot myself first, if I cant get it by Monday Ill call mack, dont have a lot of faith in them after having my truck up there a couple of times for different issues. Just was wanting,

what I need to advance it to. I do have a very talented mech helping when needed. And I am sure we can do this.
