my 62 b61s the mack mueseum book says the truck has 12 volt charging 24 volt starting and pos ground .i belive ive had neg ground to it for a while it has been starting with 1 12 volt battery on warmer days it has 2 battery boxs set up for i guess 4 6 volt batterys and would like to if poss take out one battery box and run 2 12 volt batterys but i want to make sure i got the neg / pos ground right i need help !

looking for a few parts for a 63 b61s tandem dump need a right front lever shock link and bottom mounti have the shock ..... if any one had a good set of 8 1000-r20 tires lug pattern , out side door locks dont have to work just fill the hole. a couple of the thermodyne hood emblems used, 2 b61 hood emblems im sure / know the list will get bigger

ok may be im nuts but i bought a 1963 tandum axle b61 almost no rust western truck question is from your veterns on the site can a guy make a 1963 b61 dump a hauling working truck again ? it runs well 15 foot box has had more modern items added air gate etc just want a honest anwer from the pros thanks !!

thanks i wasnt to far off on my thinking got a chance to buy a 63 b61 that they may scrap and was kind of getting a idea what they may get for it if they would do that. so i guess 10 tons is what they may get out of it +/- x scrap value i sure wish they would sell it to me close to that then i could buy it thanks for the info !!

have a chance to get a 61 b61 tamdem axle dump truck a rust free western truck has the therodyne turbo engine need painted and im sure some mech issues fixed what do you think in todays market its worth ?? if i had to sell it today ?? with not alot of icing on the value ??
