  1. It's not in active service

As I stated in firehouse.com, if this is an in-service piece of apparatus, you really need to let a certified technician (who is familiar with 'scopes) repair the problem. Aerial controls are not something to mess with.

  2. Did some investigation this weekend and found one of the Axis Controlers was the issue. I looked up some information and came up with the following info:

    MOOG - Axis Control

    Model Number 86A-183

    Baker Part Number 0201-7020

Started googling it, but haven't come up with anything. I just need the internal electronics.

  3. We have an 75' Aerialscope Ex-FDNY. From the turntable we can fully operate the tower (Left, Right, In, Out, Up, Down) From the bucket we can only operate (In, Out, Up, Down). Any ideas on where to start looking or what the issue might be. Any help or guidence to a resource would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Chris

  4. I am looking for the sliding side windows as well as the sliding door windows for a 1979 Mack CF600 pumper. The door windows are 22w X 16h and the side are slightly slanted and are 35 1/2w X 15 1/2h overall they are 38" wide with the slant. I need both sides. Any leads or resources would be great. e-mail: wojcicki@verizon.net

    Thanks

  5. What are the specs? id love to see pictures of it

I don't have the full specs yet. I sent away to the Mack Museum for the originals. It's originally from Pochuck Valley Fire Dept, Vernon Valley, NJ. I has a 1,000 GPM pump with a 750 Gal tank, 2 boosters, 5 SPD Trans, Jake Brake. It's about 32' long and cruises at 65 on the highway. I have posted some pictures earlier today.

  6. haha YES another CF guy!    Where are you from? thats a nice truck... please post more pictures, like of the cab and interior.  What kinda engine is in it, also gold or silver bulldog?

Thanks. I'm out of North East NJ. The truck is 100% Mack - drivetrain, cab and body. I have the gold bulldog to prove it.

  7. I am a new Classic Mack owner of a 1977 CF686 Fire Truck. I am looking for the Pedestal that the Bulldog stands on between the rails on the front of the truck. I have the rails and the Bulldog. I tried through the local Mack dealership and he can't find the part. Any ideas where to look would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Chris
