My B61 has a belt driven power sterring setup, my question is what type of fluid does it take in the reservoir?
I drove many a B model but they all had standard sterring, the stronger you were, the better they steered.

In case you ain't been to 'oldmacksrus.com' lately, Barry Umberger (the man with the giant brain) has loaded up the 2007 edition of the B Model Registry. My computer blew up and I never got the May 2007 update to him. Finally got computer working again and sent in latest version. So if you got your B registered by end of October, you ought to be listed. Everybody check it for mistakes and holler back so I can get them corrected - gannaway@voyager.net -. And if you never got around to registering you B or Bs, get with the program - get your info in!!

I have a B61 and would like to confirm the VIN # of the door tag to the one on the frame, where do I look for the one on the frame?
Thanks,
Snowy

Hi Snowy! Welcome to BMT! Glad to have ya a board! Be sure to post some pics of your trucks when you get a chance!
Will do,
I still drive commercial today so I do disappear for days at a time but reappear for longer periods when the new junk I am driving shows what is made of, (recycled toyotas probably) and falls apart and needs a wheel barrow of cash to put back in service.

Hi Mack lovers
I am known as Snowy
I learned to drive on a B73 and drove many models, but I especially like B73 and B75. I own a 1986 superliner with V8 but I just purchased a B613 st, although produced as a tractor it has a gravel box on it today. Although it is complete and in good mechanical state I need various parts, headliner round lights on front fenders, most of the chrome, the panels that sit on top of the fenders below hood, one of the rings around the headlight. This is going to be a treat to restore, it will be in service for my own use when completed. That will be a very awesome day.
Blessings,
Snowy

Thanks Rob, when I picked this truck up the reservoir was empty so I drained the system and filled it with ATF dexron, reflecting on it I figured I better check.
