  1. You are correct regarding the tank. We have a few of these (tubs). They came from a local quarry contractor that built them in their slow times. The tanks are from retired railroad cars. The tub you see here must have been burned as it seems very brittle and has had to be welded back up. The others are better steel and are on on road trucks.
  2. No conveyor. Just a heavy duty dump box. We have a few of these. (Tubs) is what we call them. They work nice for the heavy rock and concrete demo jobs. Also work good for tree work. Without a tailgate whatever you put in, it will come out.
  3. Sorry for any confusion. Yes we would like to still use this as a trailer. I was hoping to be able to find matching parts as everything bolts together easily. I understand that is becoming a long shot. If I can’t find what I need, we will have to modernize/customize the whole project. Very doable but at a much higher expense.
  4. If only I could source a pair of those Trunnion saddles. I can find a new Trunnion bar. Would have to have it machined a bit to match.
  5. Here is another picture. It answers some of everyone’s questions. It may be a trailer suspension. If so, how to identify it? It has 4” wide springs and looks like Mack axles to me. It does have bronze bushings for the spindles.
  6. Any tricks to getting pictures on here? I am not having much luck with that either.
  7. I don’t have any info regarding the chassis. As it had been chopped and converted to a trailer before we bought it. I will try more pictures.j
  8. Hello. I could use help identifying and possibly locating a few parts for our broken trunnion shaft. I have had multiple parts stores and yards looking and have been unsuccessful. Part of my struggle is being what to actually call the suspension design as a whole. And then the related components. What I need is a trunnion shaft, 1- threaded nut (3-5/16”x12 tpi), 1 bronze/brass washer, possibly 2 trunnion hanger brackets. ( am not certain if I have the correct names of these parts. So help me out please.) I have pictures to help this process. But could only load 2. Any leads would be appreciated.
