  1. Ok thank you I'll try it
  2. Ok I did swap the econovance and it had no change and I haven't learned how to check the timing yet
  3. If it stumbles it's not very much
  4. Ok when I start it will rev a little and then go to 650 on the tac. A light puff of blue smoke at very first and the clears. I have changed the econovance with another used one and both do the same thing. I haven't tried what you said so I will definitely try that
  5. We put 2 different computers on it and they didn't show any codes
  6. Hi im having a problem i can't figure out. I did a engine swap on a 96 rd688s and the elm says v mac 2. The engine is put in was out of a early 96 and ecm says just v mac. The timing is high most of the time. Really loud clatter. At cruising speeds about every 30 seconds it will advance the timing by itself and I have to put in neutral for 3 seconds on idle and it will then go back to running smooth again. It sounds and runs best under boost. Tps is not fluctuating. What would not be compatible between the 2 e7 motors or do I have a advance problem? Ecm shows no codes
