Does anyone have an idea of where I might find the black rubber fender trim? When NASA owned this truck they cut off the trim as shown to mount special brackets. Both sides are identical. I’d like to get it corrected. I can’t seem to locate any of these.

Thanks Brocky! Based on some old paperwork left in it and fact that I picked it up in Texas, I believe it was at JSC in Houston. It had some odd brackets with attach points bolted to each side of the cab fenders and electrical switch boxes on back of the cab, so it must have had some specialized use. Whatever it did they didn’t use it much.

The real reality is I thought it looked cool, so I bid on it never thinking I’d win it! 🤪 I keep trying to add a small 2.7mb jpeg pic but keep getting upload error messages.

Howdy all! I just bought a federal surplus 1984 MH613. It’s the model with no sleeper. It apparently spent its entire life sitting in a parking lot at NASA because it only has 9800 total miles. Based on condition, I think that’s probably accurate. I believe the engine is the E6 with a 7 spd trans. I’ve never been a trucker, just a hobbyist with my first truck and hoping to get to some shows. I hope to learn everything possible from the experts on this site!
