  1. Why did they design the B model with shorter axles?
  2. I always thought the heavier B models like the B-70s series where as wide as the R.
  3. Some more research indicates the A-51 of the early 50's was 96'' wide.
  4. Just wondering which Mack (on road) truck model was the first to use a 96 inch axle track. Google searches indicate that the early '40's military Mack NM used 96'' long axles but I am curious about the earliest highway tractors to use a 96'' wide track. seems to be insufficient information on the web.
