Cam was trash. Pulled the Cam out, then beat the plunger down through with a hammer and punch. Lifters are shot, too.

It is on cylinder 2. Trying to drill out now. The lifter is wedged up, not down. Doesn't seem to have contacted the cam.

Mack E tech 300 engine. Removed the EUP pump and the springs on the EUP pump had broken and beat up the tappet roller under the EUP pump. the tappet roller is damaged and swelled and will not come out. Tried to move it up or down and will not budge. it is stuck.

What if the valves were properly adjusted and the yokes set to .010? Where would you go from there?

Broke on no. 4 twice. Do you think a valve height issue?

06 CV713 just replaced heads about 6 weeks ago. Has broken the guide pin on exhaust valve twice since then. We had to pull the head already during install to have re-machined. Is this a valve issue?
