yeah this is a heavy heavy truck. but does that usually mean that the rear ratio is super low?

hummm okay. I thought it might be a bit strange. Ive seen new differentials with core exchange for 750 is it possible to drop new diffs in are they interchangeable or will I need to get all new axels?

it could be of what ive seen of it this is the closet looking suspension to what it has.

Okay thank you. I need to get down and look at it personally and see what its got but i believe its got the 12 speed mack trans in it. and its a four bag rear suspension set up if that helps at all. 

Have a few questions about an old superliner that Im looking at. for a project, and possibly once its done a rock hauler. Its an old triple framed oil field winch truck with, an E9 and a third tag axel. A friend of mine told me about the truck he says its got 54k rears in it. Is that an option for a truck like that ratio and top speed ect... Im here in Wyoming and its 2 hours any direction to anywhere so i dont want to get into a truck that cant do 70 without being Tached out all day. That being said one of the reasons its a project is the rear axel is locked up. Would it be worth it to just buy two new rear center sections that have a 4:.... somthing or better ratio. As of right now I dont know the ratio haven't been able to look for myself. Thats all I can think of to ask at the moment. Thanks in advanced to anyone with any information.
