All the talk about horsepower is nothing if you aren't building torque.

    Racers saying:

Horsepower is how hard you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Doesn’t horsepower and torque come together

Mate, the cat idea isn’t a bad one. Lots of different options on this site, but if your willing to spend time and money on an old Mack you should do what you like with it. Cat make a good engine and still most parts available. And bigger displacement is always good.

Thanks Timmy b. I had a friend that was pushing 550 out of his 350 2 valve so I should be able to get the same. The cat was just an idea and wanted to see what real Mack guys thought. I appreciate your positive outlook on it. I’ll just change the rear end ratio and tranny so I can pull on my Peterbilt or at least run with it. Lol

There are plenty of people on here who know a lot more about Superliners than I do.  Post you questions in the Antique section above and you will get your answer.

It won't let me post the bumper photos either but it looks nice.  The must be too large for the format. Mike.

    Thanks Mike, appreciate you trying

$400 doesn't sound bad.   I was very happy with $260. If you email them to me I will post them.  yarnallvmd@hotmail.com.   Mike.

Sent pictures. Also if you know a lot about Superliners maybe i can pick your brain.

I did but I would like one without fog light holes.  This one will do if I don't find one.  Mike.

I think 400 is reasonable. If you want it i can send you a picture via email. Haven’t figured out how to post a picture yet. It keeps saying unable to upload
