The shop in Strasburg where the photo restores engines too. I work just down the road from Steamtown and use to live close to Strasburg so I do love trains. The Strasburg Railroad is just acrosss from the PA Railroad Museum.

That would be the name of the company Mack made the truck for. My R models Horn Button says Stazwseky Farms , my grand father.
That’s awesome to have your name on the wheel!

A scrapper yes because nothing from it would benefit a restorer, for a few dollars in his pocket any thing that is useful is gone forever. An exporter would be acceptable because the unit would get a second life.
I have restored several cars and had over 50. I can’t imagine the cost to restore this and my last car a Fiberglass from the 50s cost me over 40K and i did the work. I was hoping to salvage a little history before it rusts Into the earth. My 58 Alken restoration so I get into the weeds .......

I’ll stop back over again next weekend to see if I can find the vin tag. They looked very similar for all the years they were made. This one had a square tank if it was original.

It does not run and it does not have title.

Hi, looking at this MACK for the cab. It is rough and been off the road since about 1990 based upon one inspection decal. I am looking at the Cab for a basement bar. Lot of surface rust and some corners rusted through but that's OK for the look I want. Any help is appreciated.
I need to cut it likely below the doors and around front, remove the fenders, to get it through a sliding glass door opening and then reassemble.
