Snorky, Any reason you didn't get the Cab mounted exhaust? Probably could have saved you another 50lbs

how much weight and wind resistance would the bulldog possibly make? ridiculous! sounds like taking a grain of sand off the beach as far as overall effect.
Actually Mack sells trucks without the Bulldog on the hood for certain customers if they request it. In some countries outside the US it is illegal to have anything protruding from the vehicle ala Russia.

So far its part rumor. I am sure someone on this site knows for sure. Mayflower Vehicle systems was aquired by the Commercial Vehicle Group, so thats the company's name now.
Volvo is looking to consolidate their entire truck line, I am surprised Renault Trucks is lasting this long too, especially since two Volvo Models use the Renault cabs. It will be a sad day once the Mack's are cabbed with Volvo cabs, the final blow that starts the Mack death spiral.
But I do have a bit of hope, the pinnacle line was transferred to the Macunge plant so it looks like Volvo might be trying to separate the brands a bit. Hopefully they renew the Commercial Vehicle Contract.
I think the reason why Renault Trucks is still there is because the french would strike and shut down the country.

It reads: "A short 42-inch compartment is the only sleeper option now offered." HDT
You know what I think they offer it in Australia with a sleeper option not in the USA though. Although if they state it is available right now that wouldn't make sense if came from the factory (highway in Virginia right now). I know in canada they are outfitting Titans with short sleepers.

According to this months edition of Heavy Duty Trucking, a 42" sleeper is currently offered on the Titan.
Factory installed?

Very good to hear! Could the mean we might see Titans with a factory sleeper????
Nope sorry

I don't believe corporate had nothing to do with it. The factory workers came in on Saturday and Sunday to complete the job. BTW it's built on a L3 chassis that is representing as a VHD.
