OK, I should write something? Been around trucks most of my life (and horses too). The first truck I ever drove was a Mack "B" with a quad box and for me, there is NO TRUCK ever built like a Mack. I currently cart mostly huge pre-cast cement around Auckland with old "140" which has seen better days. She's the last of the REAL Macks as far as I am concerned. Everything built after by Mack has lost that aura that made the dog on the front mean something! Her 12 speed maxi-torque has gone replaced by a RR18, a poor substitute, but her 350HP heart beats as good as the day she was first put together. She blows black smoke, leaks oil and her paint has more flakes than a snowstorm but when I'm barreling down that highway past all those plastic Jap and Euro wannabe trucks, I feel like a KING! If ANYONE from Bellways in W.A reads this, CONTACT ME! I miss carting salt to the port in Port Hedland in old 119
