Hi welcome to BMT. If you may have the time and the truck complete, you couldn join the Mack an heavy haul truckshow in Utrecht Netherlands! it is at "the cattle market" on 2 october 2011.

Yes that's a great MH! drove one myself for a while. Really liked the truck. Now i drive a DAF cabover which is very comfortable. it couldn't be compared by old US cabovers but its more like the modern conventionals. Since we have narrow streets overhere in Europe i get around very well,of course the steerable rear axle on the trailer helps too.
i got 1 and love it 91 mh all air ride v8 500 i wouldnt trade it for 10 peterbilts

Ok a lot of work in this truck, but should have been made out of Mack Rawhide parts! that would have been awsome.
-
Bonjour Edward, nice to seeyou here on the best forum of trucks have fun.
-
Hello,
Yes these trucks are high technoligy. They built them also as a 5axle truck. Then 3 front axles
steer and the middle axle can be lifted when driving of road.
Although its not a they are verry good trucks.Terberg trucks is a company here in The Netherlands too that builts almost the same but they use Volvo cabs and engines.

I came across a picture of a really nice B model with a visor similar to the one we built...
Hello Jim,
well the B you see in the picture is mine now and is in the Netherlands. It came from Canada and i was told that a guy made only 3 of these sunvisors. He would have made more but he became very busy because he 's making sunvisors for Western star now. Was your b a former firetruck? if so than i saw the truck in Teeswater! and that's the town where my Mack came from!
greetings Jan
Here's the one we built...
The visor itself is pretty simple but was a pretty time consuming job to get the brackets right.
I think someone should build a bunch of these things,,, but not me,,, someone else.

Hi folks,
seems i missed a good Mack show!!! But we had our own Mack meeting here in the Netherlands the same weekend....
We had about 35 Macks at the show which is quite good. There were also very heavy haulers (no Mack though).
Greetings Jan forever

Hello Barry,
Wow great truck!! Looks even better than the one i saw at Truckworld in Toronto.
Is this a tri-drive? why does the frame have such an overhang at the rear?
Well have a great show with all the nice Macks.
Greetings, Jan from the Netherlands

Yes this is very sad news, guess next move is putting the V%l%- sign on the Macks and remove " READ" Kill the Bulldog..........

Looks good, must have been a lot of work to make!!
Here a few pictures of the almost finished radio controlled scale model of a Mack CF Aerialscope. -
Hi guys, come to the Netherlands on 5 October, we have our annual Mack meeting. About 40 Macks come to the show every year from some european countries. Also cranes and heavy haulers come to the show.
-
Hello John,
saw your truck at Macuingie, very nice restored truck! Great that you painted it in the original colors.
-
Welcome to the forum! Wow you still work with the B model, nice truck.
-
Hi guys,
Yes the show was great this weekend! Ok it was quite hot but that didn't matter. Lot of nice trucks to see. Also a lot of "new"old trucks i never had seen before.
-
Yeah saw the Titan at Truckworld in Toronto. Wow what a great truck. Was sure worth waiting for!
I guess Mack is back in the heavy end of the truck market!! Let's hope the MP10 performs as good as the old E9 did.
looks like a Granite OR GRANITE SETBACK on Steriodslater
-
That is the Titan I saw being hauled on the lowboy. I stand by my original opinion, 9900 International.
Yes Doug it looks very much the same! What the hell it's a new Mack!! and still looks like a real Mack and not a Volvo.
Mack will be back in the heavy end of the truck market.
Must see the truck in real. in the picture it doesn't look as big as the truck really is. I would have thought it was very huge.
