  1. The numbers were right where you said they would be. Thanks. It is an EN510. After that there is a 8-44. Is that the manufacturing date? During WW11? That must be a special run for a firetruck. Bob
  2. I am the proud owner of a cool looking Mack Thermodyne inline gasoline 6 cylinder engine. There is no data plate. There is a brass plate on the valve cover that says "Thermodyne". There is also a large "MACK" cast into the driver side of the block. Casting numbers on the block are 239C8544 or possibly 239CB544. There are stamped numbers 732GBA2288E.
