The reason...I bought the contents of the "left side of the garage" for $200. Which contained a lot more than just truck parts. Being a neighbor of Ken's I know he had some quality items. It was no brainer...by the way...it was an extremely profitable buy, I am keepimg many
Its that interest me...I was not interest in the truck parts and put them on ebay so those who can appreciate them can have them...and I am very happy to (unexpectedly) see how much these parts are seliing for. A win win.

Honestly, I'm not sure...I am not a truck guy...and I actually had to google "hood lacing" to figure out what it is. Most images I saw had some sort of cushion in tje material. Thos roll is justaterial with no cushion layer... Still could be, just not sure...

I started sorting through and I have a bunch of early magnetos, some carbs, couple distributors, and tons more that I have not sorted through yet. Let me know if you need anything in particular. I have a lot of small parts. If you are local to the auction site, feel free to contact me to set up a time to see what I have left. briora@msn.com
I live near the auction site.
Here is small representation a few things I pulled out so far:

Does anyone know who won the "Mack S/A" for $4k. S/N 37259
I came across the vin plate. Should go to the truck owner. I would like to connect with that person.
Unfortunately, I sold all the other badges that came from this truck on Ebay before I realized.I do still have this s/n plate on Ebay but would pull it off for the truck owner.
please send direct email briora@msn.com to contact me.

I have a LOT of misc parts. Bin of carbs, distributors, so many parts / tools that I am not even sure what they are...I bought the contents on the left side of the garage...many very vintage parts were were in those cabinets. I spent a day and a half just laying out what I have and have not even started to asses whats there. If it's helpful, I can post some pics to see if there is anything that some of you may need? I would like to get the parts to those here who need them before going on Ebay...I could also use some help figuring out what some of these parts are...Should I start a new thread and post pics?

I attended the auction and I am not that into mack trucks but I live locally and was interested in some garage items but it was so sad to see that the majority of the trucks sold for 600-1500 bucks. Some were passed on and could not even get 500. Very few went for good money.I idid pick up a lot of contants from the garage and I have quite a bit, but the most interesting are some badge, insignias. Could someone share some insight on value or rarity? I have seen some of these fetch good money at this auction, but they were no where near as nice as these.. I found them between some books.
