Sounds like another doomed highway tractor to dump truck conversion. The CH was never designed for off road use, it's easier to just buy an RD or DM dump truck than try to convert a CH. What's the rated capacity of the axles. 12k and 40K?
Yup.. I know what you mean but how weird how I know of about 4-6 ch that don't have any issues but mine is the first.
I believe the rated capacity is 40k

i would think a complete mack cut off wouldnt be over 2000.00 and could be as low as 850.00 depending on size and condition
That sounds great but what exactly is 'mack cut off'?? Is that the mack camelback? I've always heard of Hendrickson and a couple of others around the yard

I am in need of some advice. I converted a mack ch-613 into a dump truck and am thinking about switching out the air ride suspension for a camel back to help out sticky situations. Any recommendations and any estimates on how much I'm looking at, I will greatly appreciate it.

It is an air ride system.

I have a 2001 mack ch I converted into dump truck and been getting stuck in the mud. A recommendation given was for me to switch out rims and/or get bigger tires. I have 295's all around right now. Any help of recommendation would really help. Thanks

Thanks very much! I'm going to do an oil sample on both old and new oil.
J Hancock: the only paperwork I received when I purchased was pretty much the title. Lol. So no idea on the bearing work done to it.

I recently purchased a 2001 Mack Ch-613 with a Super 10.
I converted it into a tandem dump truck.
I just changed oil (3 oil filters) and 2 diesel fuel filters. I really don't know on what intervals to change them. I saw on a couple of different topics when they change theirs but they were for different models.
I have 960k miles on it. I'm super excited to get to work with it! I've driven a couple of Kenworths but I've always preferred the bulldog of the industry.
So any advice or recommendations you may have I will greatly appreciate it.
Also, since I dont have an switch for an rear axel power divider, I've read that it's automatic. Hopefully someone can help clarify on how it works. Thanks!

I converted an 01 CH to a dump truck and when the sleeper was removed, the cab lights and visor were also removed since it was attached. I've bought a new sun visor (not chrome, of course) but looks difficult to put on since there are no pre-set holes to screw it into. Plus, the can lights also look tricky since there's only one wire hanging off from where it was connected to sleeper lights. There's rubber pieces from where it looks like the lights go but no wires. Any advice will really help on how to get this done. Thanks
