  1. I looked through my crates of photos and fount this photo of a 1909 or 1910 MACK bus that was at the Owl Head Show in the 1990's. Hope it helps you. The logo script appears the same on the MACK I.D. Tag on the pre 1925 AC Macks . Paul

Awesome, thanks Paul!! That looks like what I was thinking, and there is some other great detail in your shots. It looks to me like this bus is basically the same chassis/cab front as the one I'm working on. Time to make a few tweaks to my model!

  2. Thanks, guys! I'm not sure yet if I'll be selling these or not, really just doing it for fun. But, a buddy of mine in Canada who owns a big metal fab shop is going to take my patterns and build one from steel, that should be cool to see!

@yarnall: I would love a couple pics from the Mack museum if you wouldn't mind. I will have the truck put together before then, but I'll leave the front radiator "fascia" piece un-glued so I can change as needed.

  3. Hi guys, I'm designing and building a wooden model of the Mack 1907 7-ton delivery truck. Documentation resources have proven tough to find, but I've found 4 or 5 pictures of an old plastic scale model of the truck from the 60's that have been my primary source.

I'm modeling the whole thing in 3D (that's my day job) and will then be cutting all the parts on a CNC laser table from 1/8" plywood. Before I cut the parts, I want to engrave some graphics on the wood with the laser - specifically the Mack logo(s). I can tell in the pictures there is a Mack logo on the top, front of the radiator, but I can't make it out. It looks like it might just be plain text like the "standard" (not the newest) Mack logo. But, I thought someone here might either know or have a resource that would show a better picture.

If any of you have any pictures at all that might be helpful, those would be appreciated too. The only picture (drawing) I've got showing the logo on the radiator is this one, but it's too small/low-res to make it out. I'm attaching a couple renders of my wooden model too; still need to add the horn, lights, and throttle/brake levers, but it's very nearly done. It's about 16" long for scale.

Thanks for any help or guidance!
