  1. we have a 93 cl713 in the shop for rear end repair.our driveline guru says it has 55k rear ends.seems kind of heavy duty to me.also top speed is 92 mph.could one of you decoders ( barry) tell me what rears & gear ratio we have here? serial # 1m2ad38y0pw001382. thanx in advance!

  2. ive got a short piece of synflex that comes through the firewall to nowhere. it leaks air all the time. on the cab side it runs to a block of some kind that has 2 more lines coming off it to who knows where. dealer said its a parking valve leaking but all 3 have bee replaced in the last year. had a r model that did the same thing but not this bad .driving me crazy. thanx in advance..

  3. i had the same thing with my 97 427.after going through everything fuel and electrical at the dealer,it turned out to be the sensor that times the engine off the back of the flywheel.i forget what its called but it took along time to figure it out.

  4. Thanks for the help, I went with the Baldwin filter. it cost me 12 bucks. I cant use the mack boxed filters because I am using the B-model fuel filter.

    baldwin and hastings filters have merged or something like that. weve used hastings for years.never a problem............

  5. I have a 2002 Mack RD688S with an E7 engine in it. When you turn the key on, it powers up and everything seems fine, but when you go to start it, it wont start. We changed the ECU with one that works, and we checked the VECU also

    transfer pump if it has one. been there done that...............

  6. hey redman ,what condition are your tyres like,recap or cleanskins?check your tyres for ply seperation (big lumps in the tread or side wall)does it have shocks???adrian

    ive got either michelin or goodrich lug recaps all around. no shocks on a walking beam. iam permitted to pull 125k lowboy and they still bounce.hop or whatever..............

  7. ive got a 97 ch613 with 46k rears on hendrickson walking beam suspension. my problem is the tandems bounce between 60 & 70 mph.had it to a shop and they say everything [ bushings, springs] are fine. i can see them bounce in the mirror, so its no little thing. its shaking my truck apart, i need help...............thanks
