Mistake on that last post, it was a conversion v8 out of a 94 clr and a 600 signature in to the clr by swaping the rear engine mounts from one side to the other side then turning them upside down, and shortening the drive shaft

I wanted 2 put a 600 Cummins into a 04 superliner and a guy told me to turn around the rear engine mounts and put them on the opposite side and this will give u about 10 inches to do the job

I was trying 2 make the 9 speed slow in reverse like the 18 speed and wondering how and if it could b done

If a 18 speed transition has about 28:1 in reverse then am I able to change my 9 speed internals to achieve that same bull gear reverse of the 18 speed, assuming the main boxes are the same, maybe by changing the counter shafts or a gear or two. Ps any comments on how would be great

Most motors die from over heating you need to change your thermostat or radiator, keep it under 180
