I have a X107 6 speed transmission, 2 sticks, reverse high and low 1 stick, 5 speeds 2nd stick. The transmission is in a 1978 R Model with a 237 h.p. motor, with 4.5 diffs, top speed around 95 klms, around 58 mph.
I have just had the rear diff re-raced.
The transmission also sounds like it needs re-racing. With this 2 stick box, I am able to split each gear giving me 10 forward gears and 5 reverses.
The question is, is there an overdrive transmission similar to the X107 transmission?
Maybe an X1070B transmission?

I have R600 with 237 hp transmission. It's time to rerace the trans., I too are suffering with not enough highway speed.
Can I change existing 5th speed gears with overdrive gears?
The transmission is X107, has 2 sticks, 5 main, high and low and reverse in the aux box.
x1070 is an overdrive transmission, same vintage.

Could you help me identify a Mack cabin heater. It is made by Evans Tempcom, USA.
The blower motor is 24v. It was specified for the Australian Armies 6WD R Model, however the rest of the heater is almost the same as that in my 1978 R Model RST, except the heater piper exit the heater in a different position. The photos of the heater show the front and back views.
Forget about it being 24v as this was a special specification for the Army.
Can anyone tell me what Model it fits?

What is the difference between X107 and X107A transmission.
Will the X107A transmission fit in where the X107 twin stick transmission came out.
After changing the air shift transmission top with the twin stick top
