i have bought a 1968 r model ex concrete truck i cant get it runnin yet but somebody told me this truck could be positive ground i have worked around equipment all my life never saw positive grounding unless maybe 24 volt? does any 1 have any things to look for before i burn something up? could this truck have positive ground??

hello guys i have just purchased a 1968 r model mack i was told it had a 250 mack could this truck be positive ground it is an ex concrete truck with a driveline bigger than any other 1 i have ever seen it has 2 gear sticks with where 1-2-3-4-5-r is but nothing on the second stick how does it work just moves forward and backwards [not driven yet} got 2 get 4 batteries and crank any info on this truck would be greatly appreciated thx

thank u i have bought 4 new batteries and goin to try to get her goin this weekend should the batteries be hot on negative side?
