I am going to get a 2 nd hand box to rebuild for my 95 CH and would like to get a kit, It seems Pro Gear in the US are the specialists ?, I would buy a reman box but the freight to New Zealand might kill it, It is seriously expensive to overhaul a box here and I am a mechanic so can do it my self, has anyone got any advice and are Pro Gear the ones to go to for the parts?

Can someone help me to identify a couple of switches on my CH , the one to the left of the speed control on off switch and the one on the end of the indicator stork, the labels have gone and I have never used them.
Cheers

That's not a bad drive through there, Let me know if you are coming our way, I also have a jet boat business so could arrange for a blast in our 530hp demonstrator jet boat.

What are the specs on the CH and the F12?
Cheers, Rob
Hi rob the Mack is 400hp with 18 sp Mack box and air on the rear. It's done 2.1 million km but only 100,000 on a new motor and it drives like a new one, The Volvo is a 1987 F12 with only 450,000 km and 400hp 12sp Volvo box and heavy duty rear end with cross locks. It is also a swap body with a 5th wheel, (takes around 30min to swap)

I almost never use the clutch on up changes but years of habit mean I use it on down shifts although I am down shifting more and mor without it and find it slots in nicer without the clutch (most times)
