  1. Will anyone be going to this show in Dallas next month? I'll be there representing PG Adams...with no booth, just checking out the scene....and was hoping some of you might be entered into their show truck competitions. I'd love to stop by and see your truck(s) on display--especially if you've got it riding on some PG Adams frame rails :)

Give me a shout if you'll be there!

  2. PG Adams will make them also.

    Rob

Rob is absolutely right! We make custom cross members as well as frames. If you'd like to get me even a rough sketch of what you're needing, I can work up some pricing for you!

  3. That is what I am talkin' 'bout!

    That imPRESSes me!

I would like to PRESS the button to activate it!

It looks like it really applies the PRESSure!

That is such a good photo, I must go sit down and decomPRESS!

    LOL. Glad you liked it!

Yea that is very impressive. I'm very happy to know that Americans are not forgotten by a Company like P. G. Adams Inc.

    Keep up the good work!

    Thanks, Mike!

  4. Photos earn extra points in the cool department - Can you post a pic of the press you shape the frame rails with?

    How's that Olivetroad?

Welcome aboard! have been reading up on your company/products,seems you guys have your proverbial "shit together" good quality American made product, built by American hands! and its always nice to see a vendor actively participate/help support the old truck hobby! i do have a quick question reguarding frame rails,is the rear "taper" or ramp something you can accomplish?..........................................Mark

Thanks for the welcome! We are very proud of our product :) As to your question, we can certainly do that rear taper/ramp. We would just need you to give us the length that the taper occurs for, and what size the web tapers down to at the very end. Let me know if you want to talk more about this and/or get pricing. Here's a photo to illustrate:

I bought a pair of frame rails from you guys a couple of years ago for a project. Customer service was great and the rails were dead on. Price was great too. If I recall, I ordered them on a Friday and they were delivered the following Wednesday. See you in Springfield.

Glad to hear everything worked out well for you, ltl56! See you in the Spring! :)

  5. New rails for the B-61 showed up today. Perfect I must say of the quality. Almost perfect 90 degree bends with smooth radius curves. The internal measurement of the frame is exactly 9.065", (exactly 9-1/16th") so these will slip right over the existing frame stubs. The flanges will be exactly the same width as the existing frame.

Whoever they have measuring, cutting, and forming definately knows what they are doing on a press brake. They brag on their quality and exact measurements and I will attest to it.

When the suspension parts come back from the blaster, I'm gonna be a hole drillin SOB getting everything to fit right.

Thanks so much, Rob! It's always so nice to hear of a job well done! Good luck with the rest of the project. We'd love to see photos of the finished product, too when the time comes.

As for others out there, and in this thread in particular, if you have any questions at all about what we can do, please let me know! Even though Rob seems to already be doing such a good job of it ;), I'll be glad to answer any burning questions or get pricing together. You can reach me through here or call me at 866-851-6478.

  6. Just wanted to pop over here to say hello! I'm from PG Adams, Inc and we fabricate custom truck frames. Some of you may have used us in the past....*I'm looking at you, Rob! Thanks for all the nice things you had to say!*

I look forward to lurking about the forums and inputing anything helpful when I can. Antique trucks hold a special place in our hearts, and we'd love to have our hand in any restorations projects you might have going on. That said, if people do have specific questions about our frames, please let me know!

We'll be at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, KY at the end of March as well as the Antique Truck Historical Society's convention in Springfield, MA this May/June. Hope to see some of you there :)
