Heater Repair - Pic #1

Well, winter got here and the old heater bit the dust. Leaks from the heater core ruined the original fan motor, and cause lots of surface rust inside the metal housing.

So....I just couldn't replace the heat core and blower motor and put it all back together all rusted like that! No sir! Not me! I'm a glutton for punishment - I had to decide to take it all down to bare metal and restore it back to better-than-new! :wacko:

This is the lid that is removable from the assembly after it was sandblasted, ready for primer and paint.
