- Other Comments Been a very dependable truck. Bought it new in 2001. Then developed a clicking noise from engine. There was a recall in 2005. Never got it. All etech7 engines developed due to a soft metal introduced to crankshaft valve area. After that is when the a/c was not working. That was in the winter. Its got summer and I need my a/c so it has led me to here.
