The show you mean " Heavy rescue 401" based on the 400 series highways in southern Ontario. I actually don't like the show. I see those tow trucks around , and there not all scavengers waiting to go in for the kill. But some of them definitely are. I find it sickening heavy tows racing to an accident. Not because they care about the people in the accident , they want the big $$ tow. Short answer to" is the highway that bad for wrecks" . In any bad weather and due to the quality of truck drivers we have now , I try to avoid that highway as much as I possibly can . To be truthful ..... the 401 scares me , lol As for my snowplow. I used to use it year around and take the harness off in the summer. It doesn't have a 5 th wheel, but I used to pull a tag along trailer behind it. It used to have a dump box on it , but the years of salt rotted it out. So I removed the box and use big concrete blocks as ballast. I didn't need the dump anyway. Popular Post mrsmackpaul Posted March 13, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted March 13, 2022 Mrs Mack came about because of the chrome ladies on each side of the bonnet (hood for you lot in Yanky land) Anyway it sort of stuck as my best mates surname is McIntosh, his wife (the diff, shes like a old Holden with a crook diff, whines the whole bloody time so I have called her the diff for many years now and she hates it) Anyway she commented one day about my chrome ladies and I told here they were modelled on her, she got all proud and quite impressed that she still had it in the looks department I then pulled the bonnet open and told her "and thats when you take your bra off" she wasn't impressed as they were now pointing to the ground lol, we still laugh about this stuff decades later And Paul was chucked on the end of Mrs Mack for the first forum thing I was on as the members might of got confused and think I was a sheila, not that there's anything wrong with that, I quite like shelias and plenty of them make good truck drivers as well Paul 5 1 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
