The years top three contributors are missing and it's really starting to show.

Mack Technician was one of a few good good mechanics on here who knew what they were doing on a gray engine and he's gone. Go to a dealership AND expect good service advice with an old truck? 

Put these fellas on probation or make them do jumpin' jacks til they puke up their innards, OR whatever it takes to satisfy the crime?

Bring Teamsterr back for the 4th time and make them sit with her!😀

This is how the mess started in the first place, people trying to tell the forum how to run and what moderators should and shouldn't do

As I warned those very members you speak of all those months ago that it wasn't going to be any good for them or the forum

You lot need to really just leave it alone, no one owes you a answer or a explanation

I sign up the petition. Would like to see the folks back. Some suitable probation time or other limitations seem reasonable.

Not ready to share my mind about Teamster since I never saw his (or her?) crytical activity in person. Both options to allow or block further make sence.

I was trying to find the post that got him banned, just wondering what it was. All I found were jokes like these and repair instructions. This is the last one he wrote before he got banned. Check out who liked the post.

Just heard The Burren's (the guy who stirred the hornet's nest by starting this thread) was kicked off BMT. I talked to him over on the ATHS forum. Seems a lot of folks going over there. I get not dragging up the past...I do. Nevertheless, I mourn every banned member! We used to have some good/heated discussions on here. RIP my friends.

The Burren was Banned  Not for stirring the Pot. BUT for being a "Shill" account of a another long term Member..

Censorship - This is still America. There is a war being waged in the country on free speech. If you don't like what someone has to say no one is forcing you to listen.

At least we are not being forced yet.

Personally I strongly believe in the 1st Amendment, the 2nd Amendment, equal rights for EVERYONE no matter their color, religion, nationality, sexual preference, etc & I stand on the right side of the aisle.  Several years ago Barry asked for some help in moderating this board mostly to prevent spammers. I volunteered. More recently he asked for some more help and a few more volunteered. Although I spent much of my adult life as a 1st responder and spent 13 years doing security for the 2nd largest festival in Indiana, the last 3 years, being the chairman of the security board before stepping down so younger blood could assume the reins and because my paid job was taking away from all of my volunteer work time, I really don't appreciate being referred to as "Barney Fife" but if you must throw stones feel free. Those who have been banned pushed the limits of good taste and when asked to tone it down they pushed even farther. It's very sad that we, as moderators, are trying so hard to keep this a friendly board where we can talk trucks, transportation and other things but people keep screaming 1st amendment! we can say anything we want.  Well keep doing it and perhaps Barry will have enough of it and just shut us down because, as stated above websites are privately owned & governed as such so it is his right to censor and pick or chose what stays and what goes.  There are millions of forums on the internet so if you want to talk politics 24/7 please find a political forum. This is Big Mack Trucks. It should be obvious that it is a truck forum and a Mack forum by it's name.  Please quit trying to push buttons and just try to have a pleasant time here.
