Terry Rinkes 0
Has any one tried switching out the 50 weight that is recommended for a synthetic that is not thick when cold like amsoil
doubleclutchinweasel 521
Not sure if this helps anything, but the range shift on the 15-speed Fuller I had did not want to shift when I first started the truck. I had to sit there in neutral and flip the hi-lo several times to get it to shift. Once it shifted, it was good for the rest of the day, even if it was cut off and restarted. This was a lot more noticeable when it was cold, and nowhere near as pronounced when it was hot. I believe I had a slave valve gummed up, preventing proper air flow to the shift cylinder. That truck had a little oil in the air system, and I believe that oil was causing the slave valve to be stubborn. These air-shifted puppies can be picky about clean/dry air. fjh 696
Also if you see oil oozing from the stick tower or out the breather vent you may want to oring your shift lid!

Back when I was running a 12 spd I used to go out start the truck put shifter button in neutral and the stick in 5th let the clutch out and go back in and have a coffee and read the newspaper .
Freightrain 2,501
I do that with my three boxes. Put triplex in gear and leave my aux in neutral to move things around while building air. 2 Quote Larry 1959 B61 Liv'n Large......................
