It's nice to see Mack's with heavy specs again.

Also 110,000lbs planetary are back and are ready for order on your new GU or TD

Wow thats good news! They can start to compete with Kenworth and Westernstar again in heavy spec trucks. They also need to add SISU and/or Meritor planetary axles.

Steel Butterfly hoods should be an option again.

Yes,I was also happy to see real specs again,I was tired of seeing those Western star Kentucky coal trucks for the past 2 years for sale.

One step at a time with butterfly steel hood,This Volvo company is still learning and understanding about Mack truck history.

I have one question on this truck

What are the knobs on the steering wheel??????

post-133-1235910912.jpg

I would guess that one is manual spark advance, and another is throttle.

Thanks for the response, throttle on the center of the steering wheel? :idunno:

This truck is a little ahead of my time. :whistling::whistling::whistling:

Mark,

That is an LT, they were made as LTL's with aluminum brackets and such or LTH with steel brackets. Each are getting pretty hard to come by unless you have deep pockets. Check out my album detailing the Bulldog rescue from last August. This is not something you find everyday.

Good Luck with your search.

Doug

Hey guys,

what is the year and model of the Blue Mack in reply number 6? Is that an LTL? That thing is AWESOME. I'd like to find out what exactly it is so I can keep my eye out for one someday.

thanks,

Mark

Wonder if that blue one sold or they just pulled the ad
