The warranty only helps the sting of parts and labor but does nothing for downtime. 1 Quote The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by the people who vote for a living. The government can only "give" someone what they first take from another. My competition bought all new KW's and Volvos. So far I've got his jobs that he could not complete due to units de-rating at dead low tide or massive electrical gremlins due to the salt air and water. 3 Quote "OPERTUNITY IS MISSED BY MOST PEOPLE BECAUSE IT IS DRESSED IN OVERALLS AND LOOKS LIKE WORK" Thomas Edison “Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely, in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ‘Holy shit, what a ride!’” P.T.CHESHIRE

And these new “better” trucks are supposed to save the planet because they run clean. I’d love to see an honest total pollution comparison. Meaning the amount creating the truck, running the truck and fixing the truck. I’d be willing to bet the older truck wipes the floor with the new trucks when compared like that since the new trucks and parts are disposable. Run then 5 or so years (until the warranty runs out) then they’re garbage. Hard to compare to a truck that runs virtually trouble free for 40 plus years. 4 Quote The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by the people who vote for a living. The government can only "give" someone what they first take from another.
