BMT Inmates....

Followed BMT for years...love a twin stick truck...inherited an 01’ Pete 330 with an 8.3 Cummins, Eaton 8406 Synchro six.

i acquired a reman Spicer 7401D with a shift tower. Want to install said spicer behind the Eaton for a true twin stick.

My biggest question...can you connect shift linkage at angles? My mechanic side says any way possible, but bells are going off in the back of my mind that this is going to cause no end of issues. Most of the tower-to-trans connections I see on other sites are these elaborate modified “Z” connections.

Bulldog twin stickers have the most experience, so I came here to get the 411 on what is what.

Anyone with experience, nightmares, disasters, or mods, please respond.

thanks

PS-I know some think sell it and by a Mack, but I love the extended cab, air ride everything and AC! Below is a before photo of the truck in the rough...
