Glass bead cabinet

I bought an old Empire blast cabinet to clean some parts; I've always seen glass bead used in these. I see some people use garnet but others say it's too dusty and won't recycle as many times as glass bead. Anybody got recommendations on which to use?

I started using black beauty it cuts rust and paint and last pretty good in my blast cabinet. you use glass bead if your doing pistons or some other parts that the surface is critical. For my pressure pot outside I always use the black beauty.I found the ground glass is good but after a time it really gets dusty.

I have used aluminum oxide and it last quite awhile.  So does steel shot.  Garnet in my pressure pot can be recycled a few times.  Glass beads are good for fine work like mentioned above, but I think it breaks down quickly compared to aluminum oxide , garnet or steel shot.
