MP 8 is vague on crankshaft marking

How do you guys find #1 tdc on the MP 8 Mack - Volvo engine. First Mack ive seen without timing scale. I'm going to have to get dial indicator. I pulled the injector and another question arose. It only had 1 o-ring. Is this correct.  Thanks for the help fellow dog lovers. Lol

Same Mack's have it on the flywheel, the older ones I'm familiar with have it on the damper.

Only the top O-ring on the Mp injectors is used . There is a mark on the fly wheel for top dead center . You can also look in the front of the camshaft. It has a TDC mark on it too.
