Couldn't they just  use an old Freightliner or Volvo for that and keep the salt spreaders off those R Models??

1-truck that got 50 +out its yard like the roads MACK built them so Peeweebuilts  Kenelworths  Wolvos could drive down the roads today and dependable .

That is right, it took Mack's to build the roads and Mack's to keep them clear of snow in the winter.
