Rogerro 0 Posted January 16 (edited) Looking for the locking mechanism for the glove box to a 1960 B-61 Mack truck. It is not a key box, it is just a push button lock that holds the glove box door to the dash. Lock cylinder is 1 3/8 inches long, hole is 11/16. The hole has a key way lock cylinder so it can’t turn 13/16. Edited January 18 by Rogerro
CaptainCrutch 41 Posted January 16 Could you provide general dimensions? It looks like the same one used in CFs.
Freightrain 2,120 Posted January 16 You need the piece that mounts in the dash? It's just a sheetmetal tab that the door latch catches on.
kscarbel2 3,599 Posted January 16 62QS179P2.......give Watt's Mack a call. The P2 version has a key lock. The non-locking P1 version was long ago NLA. If you also need the catch, that's a 62QS136P2.
Quickfarms 194 Posted January 16 That looks a lot like the glove box latch that was used by Kaiser Willys Jeep on the M38A1, may also be used on CJ5's
