Mackksa 0 Posted November 13, 2018 I have a mack truck mru with mp7 engine in workshop, eecu is not being detected by the computer (vcads). and engine is also not cranking. checked all the fuses all ok. engine is only cranking if giving power directly on the starter but not starting,. need help and advise Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
fjh 438 Posted November 13, 2018 If it is a Garbage truck Start by looking for Rat chewed wiring! Also check your ecu plugs for oil or coolant contamination ! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mackksa 0 Posted November 13, 2018 it is a garbage truck. it was starting well only few hours earlier. and after few hours we tried to start again, it did not crank. ecu plugs are ok, no contamination. checked with the computer but it is not communicating with eecu. turckster 101 Posted November 18, 2018 Check voltages and grounds at the eecu. On the left side of the radiator there is a cab to chassis harness connector. I have seen where the bolt connecting the two together have come loose or some pins having corrosion. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
