seyser 150
It appears that all the new units are of a slightly different style. Here is a pic of mine, these is an original from a 79 model year truck. Anyone have one like this with the three protruding dimples on the sides?
kscarbel2 4,732
Yours, with the three protruding dimples, is not factory. A 32MK53P1 never had them. Call Watt's Mack at 1-888-304-6225 and ask for a 32MK53 (black painted) or 32MK53P4 (chrome).
seyser 150
I am going to have to disagree with you on that. I am positive these are original box covers. I was also at a local junk yard the other day that had 2early 70s R models that had the exact same covers although they were rusted.
Vladislav 2,982
Is the one you have with those 3 dimples has 3 horisontal lines on the front wall istead of an "X" pressing? Looks like Canadian cover to me. I even have this one and I don't need it. So if you come pick it up I'd give you a cup of tea either P.S. As far as I know an American style "X" cover puts in place of that one as like it was there before for years. Maddog13407 2,190
usually those dimples were drilled out and a tin flap added and they were for a DM model but you know Mack, they were universal
seyser 150
Mine have the X pressed on the ends as you can see in this pic.
