Very Interesting.. I enjoyed my trip Down Under very much..  BUT, BUT, Ya'll still have not learned to drive on the correct side of the road!!!

I dunno about whos right or wrong here

I do know that in days gone by (and even today if your old fashioned like me) that you always walk down the road or foot path (side walk I think you blokes call that) you always walk with your significant other to your left

I am lead to believe this comes from many years earlier and it kept your right arm free to defend against any rat bags with your sword

I reckon it would have been the same when out in the horse and buggy etc

So Im thinking maybe this is why drive on the side of the road we do because when cars first came about there was plenty of horses pulling loads

And then again I might have this all ass about as well lol

So the right way would be to have left-handed people drive on the right so they can swing their sword with the correct hand, and have right-handed people drive on the left.     😉

Maybe dunno not real sure lol

But I'm thinking that back in days gone by they would force left handed kids to write with their right hand, I'm thinking this would have seen  to be a advantage back in them swash buckling days, but I'm just a year or two to young to know for sure

I was learned on the same matter that when you passed your enemy on a path you keep him to the left being secured with a shield. Now seems suggestion is ancient Britts used to meet a walker already with a sword.
