Full Floater Posted July 6, 2018 Share Posted July 6, 2018 It appears that one of my brake chambers is not fully releasing on my 78 RS600L, w/Mack rear ends; and is in need of replacement. blackdog2 Posted July 7, 2018 Share Posted July 7, 2018 Sometime the bracket will flex rubbing rim with 30/30 but you can cut off excess 5/8 rod put through spider and hold bracket away bigger can better braking check the rest should be the same . davehummell Posted July 7, 2018 Share Posted July 7, 2018 Check if someone put a long stroke or if standard stroke you don't really want to mix them together. long stroke has square boss around air fitting holes. Full Floater Posted July 7, 2018 Author Share Posted July 7, 2018 Very helpful tips guys, thank you. The boss around the air fitting is round. So I guess that would be standard stroke? All the other cans have round bosses as well. I will be going down to the truck shop today and will purchase a 30/30 can and see how it goes.
